FAQ

Have more questions? We’ve got answers.

What age can my child start Taekwondo?
How are belt promotions earned?

At Doggpound MMA, belts are earned, not given. Students must demonstrate progress at home, in school, and on the mats before being invited to test for their next belt.

Q3: What should my child wear for their first class?

For the trial, regular gym clothes are fine. Once enrolled, a Taekwondo uniform (dobok) is required and can be purchased at the gym.

What will my child learn in class?

Kids learn discipline, focus, respect, and confidence through traditional Taekwondo kicks, strikes, and forms, combined with fun fitness drills and character development challenges.

Can parents watch the class?

Yes! Parents are encouraged to observe from the viewing area, giving them a clear view of their child’s progress while maintaining a safe and structured class environment.

How often are classes held?

Classes run multiple times each week, with separate sessions for beginners and advanced students. You can check our current schedule online or at the front desk.
